Salmon glazed with Black Honey results in a succulent, sweet and savoury piece of salmon that pairs well with anything. We suggest having your food thermometer ready to make sure this comes out right every time.
2 salmon fillets
Black Honey
Remove all the bones from the salmon, drizzle and brush the Black Honey all over the salmon.
Either grill indirect on the BBQ or bake in an hot oven (preheated to 250C) until the internal temperature reaches about 58 °C.
Do a final baste with the Black Honey and take to 61°C internal temperature.

After trying the black garlic purée purchased from the home show in Christchurch a couple of years ago I managed to find some in Blenheim, but only small jars, so I was really happy to find the big jar on sale from Neudorf Black. It makes lovely vegan gravy as well as sandwiches, toast etc, but i have to hide it from visitors!!
