These dates are stuffed with goat's cheese and black honey then baked in puff pastry. They are an easy morsel to enjoy at a dinner party. 

Black Honey Stuffed Dates and Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry
  • 200g packet goat cheese (goat feta works well)

  • ¼ cup plain yoghurt
  • Black Honey, ½ cup

  • 1 egg
  • 30-36 dried dates (depending on size)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 200C.

  2. Slice the puff pastry into 3cm strips.

  3. Stuff a small amount of cheese into each date with a drop of two of Black Honey.

  4. Wrap the date in pastry.

  5. Brush each with egg.

  6. Bake 10-15 minutes or until golden.
  7. While the dates are baking, whip the remainder of the goat cheese with yoghurt and ¼ cup of Black Honey.
