Very umami flavour almost truffle like,

Very umami flavour almost truffle like, cover cut onions in it and place in roast chicken, goes great…also in beef brisket stock while cooking for 5-6 hours adds additional flavour

So good we needed more!

We’ve had a couple of the smaller jars of this amazing product but we have been going through it so fast! We scoop out a couple of tablespoons and pop them in a small jar for taking on picnics. We’ve also converted dinner guests and this size jar means we can gift a wee sample for them to take home and we don’t feel like we’ll run out. Besides the fact that we eat this with every almost meal (except breakfast…)!

Gorgeous garlic flavour that works well across multiple recipes but without the bitterness or breath troubles. So delicious!! Highly recommend. Thank you for taking time to leave a review. Our puree is naturally sweeter and more umami than raw garlic but we appreciate the feedback. If you use Black Garlic Puree in cooking you can totally add fresh garlic to your dishes as well for more of a traditional garlic kick.

Can’t eat pasta without it, also use it in rice stir fries with bacon mushrooms red onions - it lifts a dish with subtle flavours that ordinary crushed garlic just can’t compete with. You don’t need much of it so a jar will be cost effective - once tried you won’t want to use anything else.
