Easy Black Garlic Hummus
This black garlic hummus is easy to make, delicious and nutritious. But mostly delicious. Use as a dip for freshly cut veg or chips or spread on wraps and sandwiches.
And if hummus isn't your thing, quite simply mix some Black Garlic Puree with mayonnaise or aioli. Deliciousness guaranteed. With this recipe though, we satisfied even the not-a-fan-of-hummus taste-bunny.

Making your own black garlic hummus is simple and super tasty. No cooking required.

Ingredients

1 can of chickpeas, drained and rinsed

juice of one large lemon (60ml)

2 tsp (generous) of Black Garlic Puree

1/2 tsp ground cumin

1/2 cup Black Garlic Olive Oil (or other good olive oil)

Black Garlic Sea Salt to taste

30-45 ml water
Directions
Add the first five ingredients to a food processor and process for 30 seconds.
Scape down the sides and bottom of the bowl and process again. Repeat until the chickpeas are broken up.
Add a bit of water to help with the blending as required and until its the desired consistency.
Add salt to taste and blend again.

If you want to add tahini, substitute half the olive oil quantity for the same amount of tahini.
